Rumor: Elder Scrolls V in the works

Elder Scrolls V, a long overdue follow-up to 2006′s Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, is in the works, Eurogamer Denmark is very confident and “can hereby confirm without hesitation.”

Citing a source “with official game documents in hand,” the site says the Bethesda title will be “the chronological sequel” to Oblivion. The new game has been previously said to take place 200 years after the events of the previous game.

Not much is known content wise, though names like Dragon Lord and The Blades (familiar from Oblivion) were thrown around. Voice recording for the new game is believed to be happening now.

Bethesda’s executive producer Todd Howard has previously said the studio’s next project has been in the works for two years and that it would be announced soon. Would it be wishful thinking to hope for it to be one of the 10
