We’ve been spoiled lately with a select handful of Trine 2 trailers showcasing the majesty of Frozenbyte’s fantasy platformer sequel. Sadly, we’ll need to wait until Spring 2011 to get our downloadable mitts on it.
But in the meantime, Mac gamers will get their chance to check out the original Trine this November. The Finnish developer’s announced that a Mac version will make its debut on Steam as a SteamPlay title, granting access to both PC and Mac versions with a single purchase.
Frozenbyte tells Shacknews that although an exact date could not be released, the Mac version will be “more early than late” in November. Frozenbyte also hinted that “if everything goes well, there’s a good chance that Trine 2 will also make its way to the Mac next year.”
