The Madden 11 rookie ratings are pretty ridiculous this year and this should come as no surprise. Every year, the rookie ratings have been getting higher and higher. Some people might like this but do you really think that unproven rookies should have better ratings than the players that are already IN the NFL that have proven themselves?
Let's take a look at some of the Madden 11 rookie ratings from this year. Take wide receiver, Dez Bryant for example. Bryant was the 24th overall pick in the 1st round of the draft by the Dallas Cowboys. While Bryant may very well end up becoming a great WR in the NFL, he received an 80 overall rating. To put this into perspective, WR Mike Wallace, of the Pittsburgh Steelers and WR Hakeem Nicks of the New York Giants, each had over 700 yards receiving and 6 TD's respectively.
After scanning through some of the Madden 11 rookie ratings, you would think that both Nicks and Wallace should be rated higher than Bryant since they have both proven themselves in the NFL, right? Well think again. Both Wallace and Nicks were rated a 79 overall. This may not seem significant but it makes you wonder how the heck they come up with these ratings in the first place. Wouldn't it be nice to have a say in what the rookie ratings should look like every year? Well here's your chance! With so many complaints about the ratings this season, now they WANT normal users of the public, like you to voice your opinion on how you think they should rate the rookies.
By filling out a simple checklist about the Madden 11 rookie ratings, they will reward you with a free copy of Madden 11 as a way of saying thank you.
