With rumours flying around about certain game retailer employees leaking information regarding the inclusion of zombie maps for Treayarch’s upcoming edition to the Call of Duty franchise, Black Ops, Treyarch have decided to end the zombie rumours once and for all, by confirming them.
That’s right, the zombies that we all couldn’t get enough of in Call of Duty: World at War will be making a return in Black Ops for those of you who purchase either the Hardened or Prestige editions of the game.
People who purchase either the Hardened or Prestige editions of Black Ops will be given a code that will grant you 4 maps, all of which are the 4 same zombie maps as Call of Duty: World at War.
The announcement was done over Twitter, by none other than Treyarch’s Community Manager, Josh Olin:
“All 4 existing CoDWaW Zombies maps will be included in Hardened & Prestige editions of CODBlackOps as callback co-op levels!”- Josh Olin
