The Crysis 2 closed multiplayer beta will take place “later this year,” Crytek and EA announced today. On Xbox 360 only.
Additional details are thin for now though. Back in June, access was promised to selected early mycrysis.com registrants, but no word on whether other means of entry will be provided.
In addition to the beta bits, two special editions were announced as well: Limited Edition and Nano Edition.
Both come with special packaging and unlocks for the multiplayer mode, with the LE being available for no extra cost. The (previously leaked) Nano Edition is a different story however; the steel case, 11”/28cm statue of protagonist Prophet and the art book packed into a Nanosuit-themed backpack will be available for
