Ever since the God of War Collection was announced there’s been one PlayStation series on everyone’s list for an HD update, the Metal Gear Solid trilogy.
Despite numerous other collections coming and going Konami has been pretty quiet on the possibility of bringing past MGS games to the PS3. The lack of trohpy support for MGS4 has also cast some doubt on the situation. Official PlayStation Magazine has given us a little hope though; the rumor section of the mag suggests the collection featuring the original three games is coming. It states: “Snake’s in the facelift queue, as the first three Metal Gear Solid games will be given an HD remake.”
We certainly hope this one is true; Snake deserves the HD love over most PlayStation heroes.
