Purchased APB? Upset that the game’s servers shut down within three months of the game’s release?
It seems that EA is showing a bit of sympathy to customers who invested into what they thought would be a much longer-lasting title. Posts on the game’s Steam forum have people talking about getting compensation after calling EA support such as getting $20 discount codes, a game of equivalent value, and even a preorder for a copy of Dragon Age 2 upon that game’s release. There are even some suggesting that your unlock code may be redeemed for a reward of some sort. However, there is also word that EA is not helping users who bought the game before an undisclosed date.
While nothing is official, seems it couldn’t hurt to give EA support a call if you’re feeling a bit burned by your investment. They may well be understanding of your plight.
