Here’s the deal: a Sony web page currently features a countdown timer and an animation of a well-dressed man ceaselessly knitting something. With the countdown set to expire in the early morning hours of next Thursday, September 2, only two things are possible: either Sony executives have managed to determine the exact moment of armageddon wherein all life on earth will be snuffed out by searing hellfire – or they’re going to announce a new PS3 game. I’d tell you to check back here Thursday morning to see what happened, but I’ve got a feeling you’ll know if that whole hellfire thing comes to pass.
