SEGA and PlatinumGames to continue partnership, new game incoming

In the past few years we’ve seen four great titles from PlatinumGames: MadWorld, Infinite Space, Bayonetta and most recently Vanquish. All of these games have been part of a deal with publisher SEGA, which ended with the release of Vanquish. However, Sega West’s VP of marketing and sales, Alan Pritchard, has revealed that they will be extending their partnership and that a new title from the developer is on the way.

“We have a further title to announce from Platinum Games…,” Pritchard told Game Informer. No word on what this title is or when we’ll see it, but it’s a safe bet to assume it’s a sequel to Bayonetta. Not MadWorld though; that game did not sell well.
