Valkyria 3 trailer brings both old and new characters

Here’s the quickest of looks at Valkyria Chronicles 3, the second PSP sequel in the JRPG franchise. We’re a little disappointed that the series isn’t returning to the PS3 this time around, but the trailer above does go some way to getting us excited anyway. While there’s no gameplay, we do get to see some of the super slick animated cut-scenes from the game that shares the same setting as the original title. Plus there’s some (not so) friendly faces in the form of Maximillion and Selvaria Bles, the baddies from the original game. At the very least the game is dropping the dumb school aspect of Valkyria Chronicles II.

Valkyria Chronicles 3 is heading for a speedy Japanese release early next year.
